So, like many other graduates (can’t really say “fresh” now), I decided to go an extra mile and drop my resume and cover letter in person to some of the organizations and educational institutions where I wanted to work. By doing so what I got was an utter disappointment and anxiety because the answers I got were like “baji yahan ke to teachers khud ro rahy hain apni nokri ke lea, naye bhartian to door ki baat hai” and “sorry ma’am we are downsizing these days”. I still managed to gather my courage and went to some 3,4 more places but the result was not very positive but I’m not losing my hope, I know I will get a nice and suitable job and I will continue my efforts in this pursuit Insha Allah.

I have realised that we tend to think that life is not fair, we are doing efforts but we are not getting any positive results but we forget that today’s reality has changed. COVID 19 is not sparing anyone these days, people are losing their jobs, committing suicides, and unemployment is increasing. Just remember one thing, you will get there, you will get your dream job one day, just be persistent and don’t give up. This is what I learnt after going the extra mile!!!
